Oakmont Subdivision in Bryan TX
Oakmont is located in the eastern half of Bryan TX, approximately 15 minutes from downtown Bryan and 15 minutes from College Station campus to the southwest. It can be accessed by Oakmont Drive, which is intersected by two major thoroughfares: University Dr. (which goes to College Station) and Pendleton Drive.
The subdivision itself is named for the Oakmont tree, which is a historic landmark located at the intersection of Oakmont Drive and Pendelton Drive inside of a roundabout. The Oakmont development has big plans. Eventually, there are plans for a mix of commercial and residential real estate. Ultimately, the 400 acre development site will have around 800 single family homes, outdoor spaces, walking trails, and – eventually – a walkable main street area with shopping and dining. While new, Oakmont is located near other established Bryan neighborhoods, including Tiffany Park, Park Meadow, Miramont, and Park Hudson Trails.
